Alex Smoke is a musician and composer; operating in various fields of sound including electronic production, sound installation and instrumental composition. For the 2022 edition of Göteborg Art Sounds he will present the piece Creation.

During the spring of 2019, we began to create a new work based on Harry Martinson’s long suite of poems, “Aniara”. In our adaptation of Aniara, we chose the poems that depict the female pilot Isagel.

Since her debut in the late 1990s, Icelandic pianist Sunna Gunnlaugs has released twelve albums, praised by critics worldwide. Over the years, she has played in ensembles of various kinds at prestigious festivals around North America and Europe. In 2015 and 2019, she won the award "Performer of the year". More recently, she has also composed music for TV and film.

Come inside the warm Concert Hall and be surrounded by the divine sounds of the mighty organ. Hans-Ola Ericsson plays music by Olivier Messiaen in this relaxed concert.

Simon Rose (UK/DE) is a musician-composer, researcher and author. He’s a recognised baritone saxophonist with a main interest in open improvisation and appears on over forty music releases.

Linnéa Talp is a composer and musician (singer/organist), based in Stockholm. In the spring of 2022, her instrumental solo debut Arch of Motion was released on Thanatosis, with music written for church organ, with subtle elements of instruments such as voice, bass clarinet and flute.
