DESCRIPTION:It is said that the hypnagogic jerk is the most common sign that the body has entered into a state between awake and sleep. Parts of the brain has fallen asleep while other parts are working at full speed. In the gap between\, both scary and pleasant impressions are created\, impressions that lacks the context and course that dreams can have. There\, your unconscious creates your unique experience of what you see and experience. Between sleep and being awake\, a world is created. In Your Head. \nIn this performance\, Art of Spectra will bring you into the gap between dream and reality. This piece is created specifically for the Vara Konserthus stage Sparbanken Blackbox. 45 performers blend classical music\, jazz\, acting\, electronic pop and choir with contemporary dance and visuals. What happens when you open your senses to experience a dreamworld? What fantasies are created in your head? \nAbout Art of Spectra \nArt of Spectra is a cross-border performing arts company founded in 1998 by choreographer and music producer Peter Svenzon. Since 20 years back\, the company is lead by Peter along with Ulriqa Fernqvist\, both of whom with a background in music and dance. The company primarily work with dance\, but also with music\, theatre\, film and visual art. \n  \nTicket information \nTickets for the performance is bought through the Vara konserthus website. \nLink: https://varakonserthus.se/evenemang/in-your-head-14-10/ \nThere will be a bus departing from Karl Johansgatan 1-3 in Gothenburg (the bus parking outside of Sjöfartsmuséet) at 16:30. Arrival in Vara is 18:00. The bus returns from Vara at 21:00 and will be back in Gothenburg at 22:30\, stopping at Karl Johansgatan 1-3. \nPlease note that the bus is free of charge\, but you need to book it when you book your ticket for the performance.
